Home Sweet Home (Part 2)

Claude Leonard Reiki Master / Teacher and PractitionerWhat does Home Sweet Home mean?

Once you are older, it will be time to leave your parents and start building a life on your own. Most young adults will find work before they leave home and that is understandable and wise. Next, you may wish to find someone who would like to join you in sharing the expenses that come with renting an apartment. After all you need to start to learn “responsibility”. Now that you have found someone are you compatible with this person? Did you have time to think about who will pay for what or will it be half/half on every bill, except for food. Food has it’s own place. So now you can call it home.

Is it really a home or just a temporary residence?

Home sweet home can be both. There are people who just love to be in an apartment because they have nothing else to take care of, except their own suite. Others prefer a house where they can take care of the grass and snow, maintaining both the inside and the outside of their home and other chores.

Home sweet home, is a place where you can relax and pretty much do anything you wish to do on the inside of the house, within reason. Unfortunately that can not be done with an apartment. In an apartment you can ask the landlord if you can paint the walls and that is pretty much it.

Home Sweet HomeIn your own home, you own the house and the land and you can remove a wall if you want. You can add an extension to the house, change the kitchen cabinetry and so forth.

Home sweet home is also a place where you can have a secluded area for meditation or relaxation after a hard day at work. Coming home to your spouse and kids and sharing the tranquility of the sanctuary of the home, is very stress reducing and calming.

When you enter your house it is like entering a palace, it is your palace. The warm feeling of being in your own castle, the peacefulness of the home with your energy filtered into everything.

After awhile your home may become stagnant, which may be due to lack of change. Every so often you need to change something in the home. You can do Reiki for the energy of the home, which would be great. You can also move the couch or replace the coffee table, and that would certainly change the energy path. When that energy path has been altered, then all kinds of things start to happen, most of the time home is for the betterment of everyone inside as home gets the energy flowing.

Vision Without Glasses

Remember the last time your parents changed something in their home and when you came in you thought they were crazy? But after awhile you got used to it. We all go through the process of adapting. We are humans and we constantly need those changes and challenges. So start using your Reiki to change that energy path and see what it will do to your life, either at home, at work or anywhere else.

Home sweet home, what a wonderful place to be,
