Let’s talk about “Lack of Sleep”
We have some clients who were sleeping only one or two hours a night for the last few years. This was caused by all kinds of stress. Some people may start using drugs to help with their sleep. This may cause dependence on the drug and the body will adjust. At the same time, the normal way of sleeping has been altered and will become more difficult to let go of the drug to induce sleep.
A sleep case:
We know that we can help with sleep problem. Here is a case where this individual did not take drugs, but after a few years of only one hour of sleep a night, decided to come and see me. The first day the client was skeptic about this, but decided to give it a try. After the session, the client went home and slept for two hours, and at night he slept for another hour. So the next day he said that he slept only for one hour at night, but in my eyes he slept for a total of three hours. So I asked him if he would like to sleep more, obviously he said yes. The next day he said that he slept for three hours, then two hours and finally another two hours. In total he slept for seven hours that night with interval bathroom breaks.
Now he sleep s between five and a half hours to seven hours each night. While we were doing this, his body adjusted and he is more focused than ever and much more able to deal with the every day stress using no medication or drugs.
